Most problems can be categorized into 2 different groups: problems that grow us (quality problems) and problems that keep us stuck. What is interesting is that we often layer our these, positioning our "stuck" problem in such a way that our quality problem can be hidden from view. Why do we do this? That's what I talk about in this episode.

Does caring for a child with special needs feels like a heavy load to carry? But one that you never set down? The story I share in this podcast shifted my thoughts and feelings from ones of "this is too hard" and "it shouldn't be this way" to feelings of gratitude and empowerment. Take a listen as this could be the case for you too.

Most often human brains like to look for the problem and solve it. When you have a child with special needs the brain can easily make that mean "something has gone wrong". "Life isn't supposed to be this way." "Why me out of all the people?" But what if your brain is wrong about this? What if nothing has gone wrong here? What if you are just the person to have a child with special needs and have a fulfilled and successful life? Don't dismiss these last questions so quickly. You will miss out on possibility.
